School of Dentistry Building Fund

Building a new physical home for The UTHealth School of Dentistry has been the impetus for the Open to Health initiative. Now that funds for the building itself have been secured through donations and support from UT System, your gift can help purchase the technology and equipment necessary to prepare tomorrow's dental professionals.

Community Outreach Fund

A recent Texas Dental Association report found that Americans do not seek routine dental care because of financial, cultural or even physical challenges, such as lack of transportation. As a result, dental diseases disproportionately affect the poor, children and the elderly. Your gift will help us reach out to these underserved patients through our Mobile Dental Van and in cooperation with a wide network of community organizations. This work also inspires our graduates to give back whenever possible -- now and in the future.

Dental Hygiene Fund

The School of Dental Hygiene provides baccalaureate-level education to dedicated health care professionals, critical to the mission of dentistry. Your gifts will support scholarship and research ensuring the best possible experience for our students.

Dean's Excellence Fund

This unrestricted-gift fund to the School of Dentistry allows donations to be applied to the greatest need or to achieve the best outcome for our students. Administered directly by the dean, this fund supports special functions, travel, research and other expenses that arise during the course of the year that add to the value of a School of Dentistry education.

School of Dentistry Student Assistance Fund

Gifts to this fund accumulate to create scholarships for deserving students who may not qualify for one of the nearly two dozen scholarship funds currently at the School of Dentistry. (We encourage you to call the School of Dentistry to explore the option of a permanently endowed fund in support of scholarship.)

School of Dentistry Research Fund

A wide variety of research efforts are under way at the School of Dentistry, ranging from biomaterials to diagnostics to better treatment for many kinds of diseases, injuries and birth defects. Your gift will help support research in its earliest stages. Presentations, travel and opportunities to collaborate are all assisted through the Dental Research Fund.
